AI Models get better with excellent data. Excellent data is created by knowledgable humans like you.

AI TRAINERS

AI models improve when they’re trained with great data, and that great data comes from people like you. As an AI Trainer, you’ll help refine how AI systems understand and respond by providing clear, thoughtful feedback. Your work makes AI more useful, accurate, and aligned with real-world needs. We need data created by experts in all disciplines, languages, modalities and cultures to improve AI.

What is an AI Trainer?

An AI Trainer is someone who helps teach AI systems to work better by giving them examples of how humans think, communicate, and make decisions. Think of it like training a new employee—you show them what good work looks like so they can do it on their own. For example, you might review a chatbot's responses and rewrite them to sound more natural, or help an AI understand the difference between a helpful and unhelpful answer.

Am I qualified to be an AI Trainer? I don't have any experience doing this before.

You don’t need a degree in tech to be an AI Trainer. If you’re good at spotting mistakes, enjoy writing, and have a knack for explaining things clearly, you might already have what it takes. For instance, if you’ve ever proofread a friend’s resume or explained how to fix something step-by-step, those skills translate perfectly. Many AI Trainers come from backgrounds like teaching, customer service, or writing—fields where clear communication is key. You must be able to communicate ideas at a college-level orally and/or in written form.

AI Trainer Frequently asked questions

What types of work will I do as an AI Trainer?

AI Trainers work on a variety of tasks that make AI smarter and more helpful. You might read an AI’s suggestions and decide which ones are accurate, write example responses to improve how it communicates, or test it by asking tricky questions to see how it performs. For example, you could help an AI learn to explain recipes step-by-step for beginners or adjust tone so customer service responses sound friendly instead of robotic. You may also be recorded in audio, video, or static image formats based on scripts or specifications to train AI on natural language and real-world interactions.
